Paul Snow
CEO
Paul Snow is the founder and CEO at Factom, the creator of the first blockchain technology built from the ground up, to solve real-world business problems. Paul’s innovative approach to software and application engineering has spawned a litany of inventive open-source companies and solutions that have paved the way for Factom. A true open-source evangelist, Paul also acts as Founder and Chief Architect for DTRules, a open source project he founded in 2004 to make Decision Table based Rules Engines available to all sorts of projects.
Paul is a founder of the the Texas Bitcoin Conference, and currently serves as president and chair. He holds three patents for graphics hardware and system configuration technologies. He is a supporter of and contributor to the Colored Coins and Ethereum projects, in addition to driving the development of the Factom Network.

Jay Smith
COO
Jay Smith is the Chief Operating Officer at Factom, overseeing the sales and marketing departments for the leading blockchain for enterprise data company. He brings over 25 years of experience leading a variety of large IT organizations prior to Factom. Jay specializes in building and driving teams to conceive and execute the market strategies to build company and product/brand awareness in order to grow market share with enterprise clients. With technical management and marketing roles at companies such as AMS, CGI, Wipro and Virtusa, Jay has built, organized and managed teams to deliver complex systems in banking, credit card processing, insurance and government settings.

Brian Deery
CTO
Brian Deery is the Chief Technology Officer at Factom. As an early innovator in technology, Brian built a self-driving Lotus Elise which competed in the 2007 DARPA Urban Grand Challenge. The race competition included a precursor to Google’s driverless car. Later, he was caught by the elegance of Bitcoin and spent several years studying it. In early 2014, he took the plunge and became a full-time entrepreneur in the blockchain space, turning a multiyear passion into a profession.
Previously, he served as an R&D Engineer at Pentair, Ltd where he designed and brought to market an underwater energy harvesting device. His professional accomplishments include managing the quality control robots certifying ~$30M of yearly production at MTS Systems Corporation, and building a computerized electrical component installed in thousands of Harley-Davidson motorcycles at the Eaton Corporation as a Design Engineer. Brian has both Computer and Electrical Engineering degrees from North Carolina State University.

David Johnston
Chairman of the Board
David Johnston serves as Chairman of the Board for Factom and provide strategic counseling. He is the Managing Director of the Dapps Venture Fund, the first fund to invest entirely in open-source, blockchain and token-based projects. He also co-founded and served as Executive Director of BitAngels in 2013, one of the world’s largest angel investment groups. An avid entrepreneur and early adopter of emerging technologies, David has founded several enterprises in industries ranging from software to biotech.

Carl DiClementi
VP of Product
With a passion for technology, Carl originally took on web development as a hobby. Seeing an opportunity for growth, he expanded into a broad range of technical consulting, including managing product development. Now the VP of Product at Factom Inc., Carl has helped bring some of the most cutting-edge technologies to the masses through SaaS offerings, including supply chain management, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and now blockchain. Whether it be B2B products, consumer offerings, or open-source software, Carl has successfully managed its delivery, becoming a patent holder along the way.
